a silent house. and yet i cant sleep. i sit on my bed in the dark. the sound of the water falling is like a second heartbeat. i stare into the ceiling and picture you. your smile and your face. and how i hurt you. love the sound of rain but not this time. my clenched fist holds my cell phone. awaiting a text message that never going to come. awaiting a person that will never return. its a beautiful night. but its raining in my head. a silent house.
